I’m Toni Alves. I have worked in marine electronics since 2000, specialising in tracking down faults, particularly when they are intermittent or their cause is difficult to find.

How I work
My background began in electronics repair and took me into the marine sector in 2000. Over time, working on board has also led me into connectivity, networks and remote support.
I like to get to know the boat, listen to the people who use it and understand when a problem occurs. Measurements and checks help me distinguish a hypothesis from a cause before suggesting work.
